Mecanica bike lock-out of the Superstock open class. Sound of Thunder 2026 was a little more challenging than normal. The 900R just doesnt' have the pace to go with the 1100s. A crash on day one didn't help but suprizingly I still manage third overall for the weekend in the Superstock Open class. Also a new PB on the 900 of 1:40.7. Being passed by Glenn on his 1100. Burt Munro Challenge 2026 BEARS club run a 2 round South Island Trophy. Round one at Ruapuna and Round 2 as part of the Burt Munro Challenge in Invercargill. The 900R went pretty good coming home in third overall. Full report Here

Been busy tinkering on the 900R and making some good progress. I sourced a different flywheel to address the ignition timing issue then put it on a diet before fitting it. A bigger oil cooler to help with engine temp and a bigger main jet in the rear carb. The handling was pretty close apart from on the sweepers.
